If you have access to fresh prawns, this is a recipe you should try. Butter is a great ingredient to be added into certain dish to enhance the flavour of the dish. Butter goes very well with meat as well as prawns. Below is a list of ingredients for cooking this butter prawn recipe.
- cooking oil for frying
- 600 g large prawns
- butter
- cili padi
- curry leaves
- garlic
- salt
- oat flakes
- honey
- soya sauce
- grated coconut
- Heat the oil in a frying pan and stir in the large prawns and cook them for a few minutes. Then remove them and set aside.
- Melt the butter in the frying pan and add in the cili padi, curry leaves, garlic, salt and oat flakes. Fry for another 2 minutes until it is fragrant.
- Add in the prawns, honey, soya sauce and grated coconut and cook for a further 1 to 2 minutes. Then serve immediately.
