The best thing of all is that it doesn't take too much of my time and it tastes great. I hope you enjoy this recipe. Let me know what you think about it by leaving us a comment below.

  1. 1 cup potato, diced
  2. 1 cup onion, diced
  3. 1 cup celery, diced
  4. 1 cup carrot, diced (you may add any other vegetables to your liking)
  5. 1/3 cup melted margarine
  6. 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  7. 2 cups chicken broth
  8. salt and pepper
  9. chicken, cooked and chopped
  10. 2 pie crusts (you may buy this from the store)
    Preheat oven to 400°F.
  1. Saute onion, celery, carrots and potatoes in margarine for 10 minutes in a hot pan.
  2. Add flour to sauteed mixture and stir constantly for about a minute.
  3. Add the chicken broth.
  4. Gradually stir into vegetable mixture.
  5. Continue to cook with medium heat and continue to stir to avoid the dish being burned.
  6. Add seasoning and chicken.
  7. Pour the whole thing in a casserole dish and top with pie shells.
  8. Cut slits to allow steam to escape.
  9. Then bake for about 40-50 minutes or until pastry is golden brown and filling is bubbly and cooked.
