Fried Salmon is one of my favourite dish. I had a very hard time mastering the skill of frying it but I ended up either burning it or overcooked it. There is a simple rule to follow when frying a fish, that is to control the fire well. Always use very hot oil to fry the fish otherwise it will still to the bottom of the pan. Here is the trick in cooking a nice juicy piece of salmon fish.
You don't need to put too much spice as the salmon itself is quite tasty even with a little bit of salt. Always marinate your fish first before cooking it. To cook the salmon, heat the oil in a non-stick frying pan. Place the fish into the pan and reduce the fire. Do not turn it until after 2 minutes. Then turn it on the other side and cook for another 2 minutes. Once it is almost cooked, turn and fry the skin so that it is crispy. You may add garlic if you wish to enhance the flavour further. Then serve with green vegetables.
